IN CHARACTER
CHARACTER NAME: Christopher ("Chris") Smith
CHARACTER AGE: 44
CHARACTER CANON: Peacemaker/DCU; wiki here
CANON POINT: post-2x08, "Full Nelson"
ABILITIES: Chris is not a metahuman, and does not have any supernatural abilities at all whatsoever. He's just a guy who's trained extensively to be in peak human physical condition, and he works all his muscle groups, thank you very much. Having been trained from childhood to be an expert fighter and killer, Chris is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and with all kinds of weaponry, guns and otherwise; it's said that "anything" in his hands can be a deadly weapon.

SURVEY
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND? WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEALTH?:
Born and raised in Evergreen, a smallish town in Washington state, Chris has never really known great wealth. His father's house was a modest one-floor ranch home, and while the family did have another property on top of that, it was simply a rundown cabin in the woods. Most of the family's resources were diverted into ventures led by Chris's father, Auggie, to develop armor for his own white supremacist persona the White Dragon, or to develop Peacemaker helmets with various capabilities for Chris.
As an adult, Chris had his own modest home, a trailer on a lot with a few other neighbors, and his own car. He has struggled with finances, though, especially upon his return from four years in Belle Reve (shout out to his father who didn't discontinue his phone service while he was in prison). After losing his car in an explosion during the events of Peacemaker season 1, he hasn't been able to afford to replace it, and continues to rely on friends for rides. While he's surviving, he's not exactly swimming in money.
That's what makes it such a stark difference when he encounters alternate versions of his family in another dimension; unlike what he's always known, the alternate Smiths live in a mansion, and have several cars and other vehicles between them.
WHAT WOULD/DID YOUR CHARACTER MAJOR IN?:
Chris did not attend college, as he went into the military straight out of high school. If he had, though, he for sure would've been enmeshed with athletics (he was a high school athlete), which would've logically put him on the path to a major like exercise science or physical education.
WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR CHARACTER?:
As someone who's worked in black ops all over the world, associated with ARGUS and various other government entities, Chris has had a number of interesting experiences. He's been known to talk about the time he saw a metahuman named Matter-Eater Lad eat an entire Wendy's restaurant, and he was part of a team that was up against a big fucking starfish in Corto Maltese. Also, he helped save the world from an invasion by aliens known as Butterflies, and met another version of himself from another dimension once. And killed him! Oops.
DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER USING ONE SONG FROM THE EARLY 2000S:
It's A Miracle — Crashdïet
NAME 1-3 VICES YOUR CHARACTER INDULGES IN:
Sex, weed, and alcohol, in that order
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S LIQUOR OF CHOICE?:
The Peace Train — which mixes gin, vermouth, vinegar, peppercorn, maple syrup, and yak butter (it's terrible)
HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER LIKE THEIR EGGS?:
Hard boiled. He just wants the protein, nothing extra added.
IF YOUR CHARACTER HAD TO DRINK SOMEONE'S DIRTY BATHWATER, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?:
Eagly, obviously. That's his best friend, dude. And, well, if an eagle doesn't count? Maybe Emilia Harcourt, because he's into her. Don't read too much into it.
